Telebaby Consult - $300
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $151.65 (with a GP referral)
For babies 0-12 months
Your consult includes:
- 30-minute video consult with Dr Sam
- 7 days email support following your consult - send photos/videos and discuss anything related to your baby.
- Receive a follow up video/phone call following your consult.
- E-Scripts as needed to your email or mobile phone.
- Referrals for blood tests, ultrasound, and X-rays.
- Specialist referrals
- Medical certificates
- Comfort of your own home
- Reflux, milk allergy, constipation, unsettled baby, jaundice and more.
Medicare Rebate:
- $148.35 rebate available with a GP referral obtained before the consult
How it works:
- Pay $300 when you book your consultation
- If you have a GP referral, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $148.35 after the consult, reducing your out-of-pocket cost to approximately $151
Telebaby & Beyond - $300
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $151.65 (with a GP referral)
For children 1-15 years with acute symptoms only
Your consult includes:
- 30-minute video consult with Dr Sam
- 7 days email support following your consult - send photos/videos and discuss anything related to your child.
- Receive a follow up video/phone call following your consult.
- E-Scripts as needed to your email or mobile phone.
- Referrals for blood tests, ultrasound, and X-rays.
- Specialist referrals
- Medical certificates
- No waiting in emergency rooms.
- Comfort of your own home.
- Fevers, vomiting, rashes, allergies, wheezing and more.
Medicare Rebate:
- $148.35 rebate available with a GP referral obtained before the consult

Follow Up Consult - $220
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $145.75 (with a GP referral)

Medicare Rebate:
- $74.25 rebate available with a GP referral obtained before the consult
How it works:
- Pay $220 when you book your consultation
- If you have a GP referral, you will receive a Medicare rebate of $74.25 after the consult, reducing your out-of-pocket cost to approximately $145

No GP referral needed
If you have a GP referral prior to the consult, this will enable you to claim a rebate from Medicare.
$148.35 rebate applies for an initial consult and $74.25 rebate for a follow-up consult. Medicare rebates are subject to change. For more information see FAQ #8 below.
Please note that our services for children aged 1 to 15 are specifically designed to address acute illnesses. We regret to inform you that we do not provide assessments and treatment for chronic and ongoing issues, including ADHD, behavioural disturbances, developmental delay, and Autism assessments. For such chronic issues, we highly recommend consulting with a paediatrician in person.
